Rosemary
Rosemary is an excellent herb for concentration as it relaxes your muscles, capillaries and arteries, which in turn enhances blood flow. Rosemary has this effect particularly on the head. Improved blood flow to the brain means better nutrition and oxygenation and less inflammation – and this also helps maximise concentration, memory and mental clarity, as well as helping ease any headaches.
Peppermint
Peppermint is a refreshing and uplifting herb we all know and love for its familiar minty flavour. But, did you know it can help with focus and concentration? It does so by relaxing your muscles and any tension that’s restricting the free flow of blood and energy. It can also relieve headaches, which can certainly get in the way of good focus.
Gotu kola
Gotu kola is a nerve tonic, which means it supports your nervous system. Poor memory and concentration can be caused by stress and anxiety, so gotu kola deals with that element by working to relax your body and mind. It also stimulates your brain by improving blood circulation.
Ginkgo
Ginkgo biloba is a neuro-protective herb and brain tonic. It supports your brain in functioning healthily by increasing blood flow to it.
This product contains ginkgo, gotu kola, rosemary and peppermint.
When to drink
If you have an intense period of studying or work to do, we recommend drinking one cup with or after breakfast and one cup after lunch. Otherwise, one cup after or with breakfast is sufficient.
How often to drink
You can drink this tea daily, up to 3 cups per day.
How to make
Infuse one teaspoon of loose herbs in a cup of boiled water. Leave for 10-15 minutes, strain, cool and enjoy. We recommend covering the tea while it brews to ensure maximum potency and flavour. You can infuse the same serving of herbs twice in boiling water to make a second cup.
