Nasya Oil combines traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with a potent blend of natural ingredients such as eucalyptus, sesame oil, gotu kola leaf, and Himalayan rock salt, to provide effective sinus relief. Featuring eucalyptus essential oil for its antiseptic and mucus-clearing properties, and sesame oil for its warming, soothing effects on the respiratory system, this steroid-free Ayurvedic formula opens your airways and enhances breathability. Congestion is eased with further additions of gotu kola leaf, which boosts circulation and mental clarity, fennel, with its decongestant and antimicrobial benefits, and sweet flag root, which soothes and repairs mucous membranes. When inhaled, this oil blend clears your sinuses, protects the respiratory system, and opens your lungs to help you take fuller, deeper breaths. Relieve any congestion you are battling and breathe better.

Eucalyptus essential oil

When you inhale it, eucalyptus essential oil opens up your sinuses and helps you get rid of mucus build-up. It’s naturally antiseptic, helping to prevent respiratory and sinus infections. On top of all that, it also dilates your lungs slightly, allowing you to take a fuller, deeper breath.

Sesame oil

The sacred texts of Ayurveda name sesame oil as the best of all oils. It’s used in our Naysa oil for its warming and relaxing effect on the nervous system when inhaled. It will also help to relieve irritation caused by constant nose blowing and dryness from central heating or air-conditioning.

Sunflower oil

Sunflower oil is highly moisturising and softening to the skin, thanks to its richness in oleic acid (or omega-6) and linoleic acid (or omega-9). It also contains a lot of vitamin E – which provides antioxidant protection to the skin.

Gotu kola leaf

Gotu kola is a brain tonic that increases blood circulation to your brain, bringing relaxation to your body and mind. It can also support your cognitive function, which may help combat that foggy-headed feeling that often accompanies colds and sinusitis.

Fennel

Fennel has a bright, aromatic scent with a multitude of beneficial properties. Among them are expectorant and decongestant qualities (it helps clear excessive mucus) and anti-inflammatory properties for the skin. It also soothes coughs and has natural antimicrobial properties.

Skullcap

Skullcap helps relieve irritation, inflammation and spasms across the respiratory tract. It is also rich in nutrients, has natural antimicrobial properties and strengthens the nervous system. It is good for improving concentration and alertness.

Sweet flag root

Sweet flag root, is decongestant, nervine and antimicrobial, making it particularly helpful for sinus-related headaches and congestion. It contains mucilage (a moistening substance) which repairs, soothes and protects the mucosa lining the nose and sinuses.

Himalayan rock salt

Inhaling Himalayan rock salt can clear your respiratory pathways and help you breathe more easily, particularly if you have asthma. It also reduces nasal congestion.

This product contains sunflower oil, sesame oil, gotu kola, fennel, skullcap, sweet flag root, himalayan rock salt, vitamin E oil and eucalyptus smithii essential oil.

  • Drinking plenty of fluids, including water as well as our Allergy Support tea, to help thin mucus and reduce congestion.

  • Stay indoors during high pollen counts and ensure your living space is regularly cleaned to reduce allergens.

  • Incorporate breathing exercises or practices like pranayama, which can help improve lung capacity and ease respiratory discomfort.

  • Consider using a neti pot to cleanse your nasal passages with a saline solution, to remove allergens and irritants.

Nasya Oil is designed to relieve the symptoms associated with upper respiratory conditions such as allergic rhinitis, post-nasal drip, and respiratory congestion. It helps clear congestion and supports the health of the mucosa lining the nose and sinuses.
